As these psychedelic folk rockers from Glasgow apparently like to play with dark-light contrasts, Lucid Sins is indeed a well chosen band name. My normal go-to address for this kind of music with a pleasant retro-flair, is Chris Wade's Dodson & Fogg but by good luck I stumbled over these guys, who deliver comparable goods, though a good deal harder hitting and with infectious grooves. The drivin Hidden in the Dark is another favourite. Carsten Pieper

Utterly hypnotic, heavy, and ethereal beyond what I can aptly describe here. It'll take you careening down a kaleidoscopic wormhole of audial bliss. cynothoglys
Massive riffs and moribund themes power this aptly titled slab o' doom from Greek stoner metal outfit Seer of the Void. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 8, 2023
Kansas City trio Flooding draw out the more mystical qualities of slowcore and noise rock for a heavy sound that's less stony than doom. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2023

I heard "Hounds of Dune" on a Spotify playlist. Loved the grooves, heaviness & originality. After listening to one more track I headed to Bandcamp and bought everything these guys have out. All the music is well produced and freakin kicks ass. So just listen. Read other reviews for a more technical review. All I know is Warchief is my best find since Jack Harlon & the Dead Crows. This shit is awesome. Thank you Bandcamp. Once again. Steve
